Doctrine of Holiness

We will explore ways that a deepened faith will produce a holiness that is foundational to our Wesleyan tradition. As we seek to follow Jesus’ command in Matthew 5:48 to “Be perfect therefore as your Father in heaven is perfect”, the result will be an inward renewing of our heart, mind, and soul that is shown outwardly in a lifestyle that more closely reflects Jesus.

Wesleyan History and Discipline

What does it mean to be a part of a Wesleyan Church? From it's beginnings, the Wesleyan Church desired to see God's people in the beauty that He created them. During our three days of class, we will have in-depth discussions about what made John Wesley such a champion for the Kingdom with engaging learning and discussion about how do we wear our Wesleyan heritage with pride - you don't want to miss this class!

Methods of Bible Study

There is a world of difference between reading the Bible and studying the Bible. This class is for people to be able to integrate the basic skills we will learn into a life-long study of God's Word. We will examine and practice the key elements of prayer, observation, interpretation, and application of God's Word, not only to learn it for ourselves, but also in order to teach it to others.
