I think one of the great problems in this life is a skewed sense of self-perception. For when you are unable to see the value of yourself, and in yourself, well, the decisions that you make will reflect that. And truth be told, you will not be able to live in your God-ordained potential.
I heard it said, that where the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable – and difficulty is sure to follow.
So, let’s reflect for a moment. What do think God sees when He sees you? If it is anything less than His Heavenly view, you’re believing a lie. For God’s view of you is so much higher than you can imagine, and a whole lot greater than you could ever dream.
David wrote, “Your thoughts – how rare, how beautiful! God, I’ll never comprehend them! I couldn’t even begin to count them” (Psalm 139:17).
This is why it is imperative that we know thoughts of who we are, and whose we are, and align with them. And why reading His word is so vital. Because as you read the Bible, it’s like rehearsing, over and over, the things He has spoken over you.
My friends, we were purchased at a high price. We have been chosen by the Most High. It is time that we not only know this, but are able to live like it.
