It’s not what you read that makes the difference, it is what you apply. It’s what you put into practice, what you live out in your life every day.
The author of James instructs that, “a faith without works, is a dead faith” (James 2:20).
The apostle Peter writes that we are, “chosen by God, chosen for a high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do His work” (1 Peter 2:9). And what is that work? To “tell others of the night-and-day difference He has made in us – from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted” (1 Peter 2:9-10).
We have a mandate, my friends (Matthew 28:19), to help others discover the saving grace, the goodness of our God, and the transformational life that only He can give. Are you doing that?
May I encourage you? Step it up, step it out, and stand tall for the name of Jesus. For you see, that’s the only faith there is and the only faith to have!
So, who is it that you need to tell, to live out before them, this Jesus they desperately need to know?
