The answer to overcoming fear is faith. Now listen, faith is not automatic; it is a choice we have to make, to believe God’s love for us and the promises of His Word to us.
In the book of Hebrews we read – “God has assured us, ‘(I will) never let you down, (I will) never walk off, (I will) never leave you,’ so we can boldly quote, God is there ready to help; I am fearless no matter what. Who and what can get to me?” (Hebrews 13:5 – The Message).
Thus, when we walk through the valley of the shadow, when we turn a corner and perceive a difficult path filled with uncertainty, we can go forward (we will move forward). For with God on our side we can confidently proclaim in the face of fear (in the face of COVID-19) – “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalm 23:6).
So let us ‘faith up’ rather than ‘freak out’ in the face of all of this. For this is our time to be His Bride – His church.
So, confess, any/all doubts, fears, and/or questions, of your leadership abilities, and replace those with His assurances, from HIS Word.
